Philadelphia Attorneys Daniel P. Martz, Barbara S. Magers and Mary Kay Plyter Join CPMY

Three experienced Philadelphia attorneys have joined Christie, Pabarue, Mortensen and Young’s Life and Health Sciences Defense Group.

Daniel P. Martz joins the firm as a Shareholder. Dan has extensive experience in the representation of physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare-related entities, having tried to verdict many matters in federal and state courts throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Barbara S. Magers and Marie C. (Mary Kay) Plyter join the firm as associates. In her 20-year practice, Barbara has defended medical malpractice claims and litigated commercial disputes, including class actions, ERISA claims, banking and lending disputes, and product liability claims. Mary Kay brings to the firm a 16-year career in the nursing field in addition to substantial experience as an attorney representing hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses and other healthcare staff in medical malpractice lawsuits. Mary Kay also has expertise in nursing licensure issues.
