Mariana Bracetti Academy Fundraiser

Christie, Pabarue, Mortensen and Young recently held a cocktail reception and fundraiser for The Mariana Bracetti Academy, Pennsylvania's largest science and technology charter school. The school was founded by the LULAC National Educational Service Center, a non profit organization providing educational services to youth in the Latino community. The event attracted over 100 people and received support from The Eastern Technology Council as well as CPMY. Several students made presentations concerning the goals for their school, including the "100 Book Challenge," which encourages students to read 100 books during the course of the school year. CPMY was thrilled to support such an important community event. The goal of the fundraiser was to support the creation of a new library for the academy.
