Margaret M. Harrington

Of Counsel

Margaret M. Harrington is Of Counsel to the firm. At the outset of her professional career, Meg focused on first-party and third-party property damage claims relating to both residential and commercial building losses, including losses from fire, product malfunction, oil spills and catastrophic weather. This foundation led to her practice in insurance coverage interpretation, product liability and construction defect defense, and general casualty litigation. Meg currently practices in multiple areas of the law, including premises liability and liquor liability. She has tried numerous cases to verdict with successful outcomes.

Meg has served as a member of the faculty at the Community College of Philadelphia, teaching courses in Civil Litigation, Political Science, American History and Paralegal Studies. Meg has also served as Moot Court Judge at Widener School of Law and as volunteer faculty in its Intense Trial Advocacy Program. In addition, Meg was an instructor for Lorman Seminars’ Discovery in Civil Litigation for Paralegals.

Meg is an active member of the community, serving from 2005 - 2008 as clerk/liaison for the school and parent community at Abington Friends School. Currently, Meg is active in the school and parent community at St. Luke’s School, in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Meg also mentors high school students in inner-city Philadelphia through the Victory Schools program.

Meg is one of ten Harrington attorneys in the Philadelphia area. Meg, her husband Mark, and their son Max live in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.
