Peter Lynch has practiced law since 1980 as a trial lawyer representing defendants in civil litigation. Mr. Lynch has extensive experience in jury and non-jury trials in both federal and state courts throughout the United States, having tried or participated in the trial of cases from Yakima, Washington to Enterprise, Alabama, and from Denver, Colorado to Media, Pennsylvania. In recent years, Mr. Lynch has concentrated on the defense of health care professionals in medical negligence cases, builders and developers in construction defect litigation, and has continued his long involvement in toxic tort litigation. Through this work, he has had experience in locating, preparing and presenting expert witnesses in many different medical and technical fields. Mr. Lynch has also worked in the defense of corporate clients as part of a national defense team, and in representation of those clients in large national class actions. Mr. Lynch has significant experience working with corporate litigation counsel to devise and carry out discovery and trial strategies.

Mr. Lynch is Chair of the firm’s Toxic Tort Practice Group, and currently represents several of the firm’s clients involved in asbestos and other toxic tort litigation in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Mr. Lynch has also prepared and tried to verdict environmental insurance coverage cases, representing insurers in cases brought by large corporate policyholders involving multiple environmental liabilities.
