Marybeth Smith Werb

Marybeth Smith Werb has extensive experience representing insurance company clients in complex insurance coverage matters involving environmental property damage and toxic tort claims. In addition to handling all aspects of litigation, Ms. Werb has successfully negotiated multi-million dollar settlements. She has substantial court experience, having argued many motions and pre-trial issues before state, appellate and federal courts in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas. Ms. Werb has advised clients on a variety of issues related to insurance coverage, including allegations of bad faith claims handling. Ms. Werb has also handled general defense matters for clients involving UM/UIM claims, asbestos, mold and contractual disputes.

Ms. Werb joined the firm in 1992 after working in Wilmington, Delaware, where she handled real estate matters and personal injury lawsuits.
