Richard S. Margulies

Rick Margulies focuses his practice in the handling of complex claims involving commercial disputes, professional liability, product liability, transportation litigation and other negligence-related matters. Mr. Margulies has extensive experience in the representation of physicians, hospitals, laboratories and other healthcare-related entities in litigation matters. Mr. Margulies has litigated matters in federal and state courts throughout eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. He has successfully tried to verdict cases in Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware and Berks Counties. Mr. Margulies also has extensive experience in appellate matters, as well as arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Mr. Margulies joined the firm in 1997 and has been a shareholder since 2000. In addition to his practice at the firm, Mr. Margulies has served on a part-time basis as Assistant Counsel for the University of Pennsylvania Office of General Counsel, in the management of claims and litigation.
