Carolyn Bates Kelly

Carolyn Bates Kelly has extensive experience representing insurance company clients in complex insurance coverage matters involving environmental property damage and toxic tort claims. In addition to handling all aspects of litigation, Ms. Kelly has successfully negotiated and finalized complex pre- and post-litigation settlements. She has substantial experience advising clients on issues related to insurance coverage, including allegations of bad faith claims handling. Ms. Kelly has also handled the defense of litigated matters involving employment, contract and civil rights issues.

Ms. Kelly joined the firm in 1996 after working in-house at CIGNA in Philadelphia, where she worked on a variety of litigated matters, including premium recovery actions, real estate disputes and agency contract disputes.
